Winter Tides - 2014-2015
Created as a visual representation of winter skies in London, this piece combines scrapes, strokes, and splashes of acrylic and emulsion paint over a collaged surface which is then sealed with a polyeurethane top coat that provides a shine and adds extra depth to the composition. Behind the dark wintery blues are flashes of vibrant magenta, pthalo turquoise, shiny gold representing the beautiful sunrises and sunsets behind the crisp cold clouds and winds.
