Journeying Through Colours
These paintings were inspired by the colours I see around me in my daily London life from the mesmerizing sunrises and sunsets above the Thames to the rows of Victorian houses in Southfields. I have started taking photographs of various textures, shapes and patterns trying to identify what makes the mind view certain compositions as beautiful and how does that change once these compositions are abstracted? Breaking away from the reds and golds of my previous series, 'Journeying Through Colours' documents not only the changes happening in the city as Autumn turns to Winter but also the changes and growth within my own artistic career.
