In Town...

Wanting to create something beautiful and full of character, I was
inspired by my recent study of Aboriginal art when making these
paintings. Simplicity in composition and a playful attitude towards
colours and patterns are combined to make viewers smile at the
quirkiness. I have collaged found wallpaper, bits of napkins, acrylic
paint and rub-ons together within this series of paintings titled 'In
Town...'. The surfaces are sealed with polyeurethane to protect the
perishable materials and create a thick, shiny surface.
