Re-Vision I

            This series use of female images from fashion magazines combines with an array of found paraphernalia in order to question the effect the media has on the perception of physical beauty. These pieces highlight the extreme nature of gradual build-ups by having multiple layers, paper upon paper, paint upon paint, crackle glazes upon polyacrylic glazes, in order to parallel the emotional terrain within a human's lifetime.
